Xibalba

Amidst the thick jungle of the Yucatan Peninsula, hidden caverns and cenotes are found: entrances to the Mayan underworld -ruled by the twelve lords of Xibalba. This sacred world is found in the underground caves and rivers that arise beneath ancient Mayan cities & is said to host temples and ball courts where the living may battle the lords of the dead to prove their worth. To enter this realm is no easy task: many difficult trials must be completed and overcome in order to gain the approval of the lords of Xibalba.
