Hilda Palafox , is better known as "Poni". She is a designer, illustrator, muralist... a visual artist in every sense who uses her unique style to manifest her strong feminine energy in art.
Hilda is originally from Mexico City and studied at the National Institute of Fine Arts, at 36. Hilda Palafox is currently one of the most prominent illustrators in Mexico.
Her work, which she describes as nostalgic, feminine and childlike, is influenced by the work of artists such as Yoshitomo Nara, Mark Ryder and Toshio Saeki, among others. His technique is varied: pencil, watercolor, markers or acrylic. This is where her passion for figures and tender female characters show her great talent and incredible inspirations.
